How Close Do You Live To A Sex Offender?

I wanted to share this link with everyone who has children or grandchildren they want to protect.

Family Watchdog
http://www.familywatchdog.us

Family Watchdog is a site where you can type in your address and find a map and a list of sex offenders in your area. After the map loads, click on List and you can print out a list with names and addresses and how many miles they live from you.

I did this for all of my daughters, and hope they will keep the list on their fridge where they can see it. We must do all that we can to protect our children from these offenders.

Hi Susan, I tried to log on to Watch Dog and find out about my area, but it is hard to get into.

Is anyone else having a problem with this link?

Ohio has a site that provides a zip code search for sex offenders, that includes pictures.

Check your state to see if they have a registry.

    NATIONAL ALERT REGISTRY

mapsexoffenders.com seems to run about twice as fase and is easier to use.

I also had a problem with this website. A friend told me about www.mapsexoffenders.com

It is good that there are a few different sites. I found the site
    http://www.mapsexoffenders.com/
to be very slow loading and once it did load, and I typed in my address, all it said was that there was no map available for that area. So

    Family Watchdog
    http://www.familywatchdog.us

worked better for me. That way I have a list and I can use

    http://www.esorn.ag.state.oh.us/Secured/p1.aspx

    to find their pictures.

So thank you for the other links.
